In the Internet environment, the public cultural space of museums is expanding.Live broadcasting through the network can continuously close the distance between the museum and the audience. This mode of information dissemination, which neglects time and space, extends the functions of social services and education of museums.Through the collection and reading of literature,it is found that the research on online live broadcasting of museums is still blank. Therefore, this study has a certain theoretical significance for the theoretical space expansion of Museology and information communication, and it can also provide some reference experience for domestic museum webcast.Firstly,on the basis of literature analysis, this paper discusses the application of live network broadcasting in museums from four aspects: types, characteristics, roles and impacts. Then it discusses the application status of Museum live broadcasting from three aspects: the main body, carrier and form of live broadcasting. In order to verify its dissemination effect,a network questionnaire was conducted, and combined with the data of 52 museums and 577 live broadcasts, the quality of the host, the content of live broadcasting, the degree of interaction between dissemination and reception, and the effect of watching were discussed. Finally,in view of the uneven quality of hosts, the mismatch between live broadcast information and audience needs, the shortcomings of technical means, and the lack of innovation, this paper makes a thorough analysis.Based on the above research, the author thinks that we should optimize the development path of online live broadcasting of museums from four dimensions: content, audience, technology and innovation, and puts forward detailed countermeasures.
