With the rapid development of radio science and technology,the requirements of the wireless communications industry for miniaturized,multi-functional,and low-cost communications equipment have been continuously improved.The passive filter is one of the indispensable electronic components in the microwave radio frequency system.Its design methods,structures and materials are also continuously enriched and improved.At present,Substrate Integrated Waveguide(SIW),as a new waveguide structure,is widely used because of its high Q(quality factor),high power capacity,small size and low insertion loss.In radio frequency systems.Especially the Half-mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide(HMSIW),which inherits the many advantages of the SIW filter,also has the characteristics of specific halving,so that it can be effectively applied to circuit design of microwave millimeter waves.This paper mainly studies the application of planar structures such as HMSWI technology,Electromagnetic Band Gap-EBG,and Complementary Split-ring Resonator(CSRR)in filter design,and designs two different structures.Bandpass filter.At the same time,the influence of the structure and design method of the two filters on their transmission characteristics is studied.The main research work of this paper is as follows:First,the basic theory of the filter is introduced,including the related theories of the four basic filters.Secondly,the basic structure and transmission characteristics of SIW and HMSWI are introduced,and the basic design principles and methods of this type of filter are summarized.Secondly,based on the basic structure and design principle of SIW,a novel HMSWW structure filter is designed.By adding an EBG structure on both sides of the input and output lines,the steepness of the side frequency of the filter can be effectively enhanced,thereby increasing the rectangular coefficient K of the filter.The design steps and simulation results of the two filters are introduced in detail,and processed into real obj ects for actual test comparison analysis.Finally,based on the traditional structure,the CSRR and EBG planar structures are added simultaneously,and a miniaturized HMSWW filter is designed,which can realize the dual passband filtering characteristics.In this paper,the transmission characteristics of the filter are studied and processed into real objects.The final test results are basically consistent with the simulation results,and the correctness of the structural design is verified.
