The attention to the health status of the elderly group is increasing with the aggravation of the population aging and the number of the elderly gradually increasing.The research on elderly fall monitoring equipment is currently popular and active.Furthermore,the requirements for fall detection products and technology are very large in the current healthcare industry.Therefore,it has great social significance and research value to design and develop a convenient and practical intelligent wearable fall monitoring device for old man.A wearable fall monitoring system for the elderly based on NB-IoT(Narrow-Band Internet of Things)technology is designed and developed in this paper.The system uses STM32 as the main control chip and NB module M5310 as the communication module.The hardware platform of the whole system is built through the integration of temperature and humidity sensors,illumination sensors,GPS positioning module,triaxial accelerometer,heart rate sensors,trigger touch sensors and other sensing devices.The system combines the data receiving and processing capabilities of the OneNET IoT open platform to achieve the functions of elderly fall monitoring and heart rate and environmental parameters monitoring.If an accidental fall occurs,the platform alarm will be triggered automatically to notify the guardian of the elderly in time,and the GPS positioning module will be used to locate the location of the elderly in real time,so that the elderly can be treated in time to avoid missing the best rescue time.This paper completed the development of NB-IoT northbound and southbound application.The functions of connecting terminal devices to the network and logging on OneNET platform to report data are realized by employing M5310 chip of China Mobile IOT.It also realizes the functions of real-time control,online debugging,monitoring management,triggering alarm on the visual application side of the mobile OneNET IoT open platform.This system improves the drawbacks of the mainstream fall monitoring equipment on the market,such as inconvenient wearing,no heart rate monitoring function,no environmental parameter monitoring function,and activating alarms by themselves who fall,etc.It can effectively reduce the rate of injury and death caused by the body's incapacity or unconsciousness after the fall.In addition,the illumination of the LED light can be controlled by the touch sensor with trigger type to facilitate the lighting needs of the elderly during nighttime activities.It is an intelligent fall system and has practical value and commercial prospects.
