Research On "Gatekeeper" Of Netease Short Video In The Age Of Intelligent Media

The development of Internet technology and information-based aggregation platforms has made short video,an emerging media that integrates graphic,audio,video and special effects into the public's field of vision and received widespread attention.Due to the diversified characteristics of short videos,many information aggregation platforms strive to implement personalized recommendations for users through algorithm techniques.However,the algorithm is not omnipotent.In recent years,short video platforms have been repeatedly "about talk" and once sanctioned because of the spread of bad content affecting social good.This thesis uses the "gatekeeper" theory in the theory of communication to analyze the short video check-up activities of the information aggregation platform in the era of intelligent media,and conducts in-depth research on the most popular human-machine combination check-off behavior of the current content distribution platform,and analyzes the problems of its control.And propose solutions.This article takes NetEase short video as a case,and tries to reveal how the algorithm technology in the intelligent media environment can check the short video of the platform by examining its main body,check mechanism,check function and check standard.The article sorts out the development of the check mode and combines the theory to examine the short video of the intelligent media era from the core features of the short video check and the problems of the current check.Different from the traditional media era,with editors as the core of the check,the era of intelligent media shows the new characteristics of human-machine integration,post-checking,diversification and background control,and the existence of information boudoir effect and algorithm recommendation dilemma Interrogated the algorithmic ethics of the era of intellectual media.Based on this,this paper combines the micro-small case of Netease short video to check the short video of Netease from the perspectives of editing,algorithm two check subjects,quality review and optimization recommendation double check mechanism and platform's own check standard.The author believes that the short video check in the intelligent media environment presents the characteristics of thecombination of man and machine.The machine audit improves the audit efficiency while reducing the labor cost,but the manual review has a natural advantage in the value judgment of the content,which is short.An essential part of the video review process.In order to make the algorithm check and manual check more rational and reduce the negative impact of algorithm control,the macro level government should improve the legal mechanism,regulate the short video transmission from the legal level,and establish a good industry trend;The middle level platform should optimize the algorithm technology,constantly improve the platform's algorithm recommendation system and audit mechanism to create an efficient audit team;Micro level participation in the check-up personnel should actively strengthen their media literacy awareness,and strive to become a high-quality professional auditor.In the age of intelligent media,while the algorithm is becoming more and more mainstream,editors should stick to the value of human beings.
