SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy)has been developed for decades.By the beginning of the 21 st century,this technology has gradually been replaced by PTN and OTN in the telecom carrier networks.However,in the private network of State Grid,SDH is still the most important technology for now and for the next ten years.Therefore,how to ensure the reliability of services,has become the most urgent problem in the operation and maintenance management area.After analyzing the SDH network structure of all the power companies in Jiangxi Province,this paper finds out that in complex network,the incomplete protection of the service is everywhere,and the maximum effectiveness of subnet connection protection cannot be exerted.Based on analysis of the cases at home or abroad,and combined with recommandations by the ITU-T,this paper proposes a subnet replacement method to simplify any multi-ring network structure.In this paper,the subnet substitution method is used to discribe 9 typical complex networking models,and refines several principles for service configurations.It is expected to guide network operation and maintenance when it come to the complex network.Meanwhile,for the current situation that the network management applications can not automatically create the complete protection service path,a simple pathfinding algorithm is proposed.First,the service path of any complex network is replaced by the subnet equivalent method and then reduced to the binary tree model.All crosses for a complete protection path is finally configured out by scripts on the management applications.Therefore,the automatic generation of the complete protection can be realized,thus make up for the shortcomings of the current SDH network management applications,providing a new idea for the reliability guarantee of the service.
