Energy issues and environmental issues have become the two major themes to threat human survival.The traditional sensors used in the daily life of people need external power supply to provide the power to work,and the power supply is mostly from battery.Used batteries will cause a lot of pollution to the environment.Therefore the development of device which can gather energy from the outside,to provide work as their own self electrical power is very important,which solve the problem of environmental pollution and energy.Self powered ZnO nanowire gas sensors provide a new solution for us.This paper will be based on this research.Humidity detection sensitivity of self-powered ZnO nanowires gas sensor is not high,and through the literature knows that doping is a way to improve the sensitivity of the device.By doping Cd,the humidity sensitivity of ZnO nanowires can be improve..Using chemical liquid deposition method to synthesize the required materials,and then use SEM,TEM,XRD,EDS for the characterization of the material.Then make the related device to measure the data.It was found that the molar ratio of Cd and Zn elements to 1:10 was better than that of undoped ZnO and 2:10,and the performance was increased to 85.7(70%relative humidity).Through small application of the device,we know that it can be made into a flexible device,and the device can be pressed with a finger to work.In addition,a discussion on the coupling effect of piezoelectric effect and photoelectric effect,and the coupling effect and photocatalytic effect is also carried out.On top of this,the experiment was carried out.Most of the materials are synthesized by chemical liquid deposition method,and the tetrapod-like ZnO nanostructure is synthesized by vapor deposition method.The performance experiments found that ultrasound can improve the photocatalytic efficiency,but the coating effect is not obvious,the performance of pure tetrapod-like ZnO nanostructure is similar with the tetrapod-like ZnO nanostructure under visible light.But the research on light detection has not made substantial progress.
