As one of the most widely used and fastest-developed advanced detection equipments,infrared thermal imaging cameras have been widely used in fault detection of power systems and electrical equipment,and have demonstrated powerful functions that other testing equipment can hardly replace.The use of infrared thermal imager can detect the running status of electrical equipment without shutdown,and can detect the defects of the equipment in advance,which is of great significance for ensuring the reliability of power supply system and safe operation.At present,the infrared detection method of electrical equipment mainly depends on manual inspection.It does not form an intelligent system that combines software and hardware,and cannot meet the requirements of power system for detection accuracy and measurement efficiency.The dissertation deeply studied the infrared radiation law and conventional temperature measurement methods of the electrical equipment.Combined with the infrared fault diagnosis principle,the paper designs a set of online monitoring system for electrical equipment that cooperates with the infrared detection equipment.The system uses infrared thermal imaging temperature measurement technology,and obtains the information of infrared thermal image temperature spectrum.It realizes real-time online monitoring of electrical equipment,discovers the abnormal temperature rise point of the equipment,and performs fault diagnosis and early warning.The following research work has been carried out around infrared thermal imaging temperature measurement and electrical equipment online monitoring systems:(1)The function and composition of the infrared camera are studied,and a suitable thermal imager is selected according to the needs of the subject.According to the principle of infrared radiation and infrared detection,the system analyzes the factors affecting the measurement accuracy of the infrared thermal imager and finds the corresponding solutions.(2)Connect the thermal imager and computer via Gigabit Ethernet cable,the network data transmission of the thermal imager and the monitoring system is designed based on the TCP/IP protocol to ensure real-time,rapid,and safe transmission of temperature and images,and improve system reliability.(3)The effect of equipment load rate on surface temperature at different time periods was studied,and an on-line monitoring method was designed for different time periods.At the same time,iron-red pseudo color enhancement processing is performed so that the system has a good monitoring visual effect.(4)Referring to the temperature information of electrical equipment in generalsubstations,select the Access database as a data management system,and set up data storage modules to implement historical data query functions.(5)According to the "Application of infrared diagnostic equipment for charged equipment" to design electrical equipment fault diagnosis module,to achieve health diagnosis and fault alarm function.The research and implementation of the on-line monitoring system for electrical equipment saves a lot of manpower,material resources,and financial resources.It is the future direction of development.It has important research significance for the transition from planned maintenance to real-time monitoring of electrical equipment.
