As one of the important links in the production process,the glue spraying process has attracted extensive attention.At present,the corresponding automatic glue spraying system has been put into the industrial field,but the movement locus of spray generally requires workers participation,leads to low processing efficiency and low automation;and the glue contains toxic chemicals,which seriously affect the health of the staff.Therefore,this paper designs a set of intelligent spraying system based on machine vision through in-depth study of the existing glue spraying system.Firstly,machine vision system is used to detect the workpiece to be processed to generate the spraying trajectory,and then optimized the movement locus of spray within the processing constraint error range to make it smooth,and finally controlled the spraying robot to complete the spraying operation according to the optimized trajectory,which liberates the artificial labor in the glue-spraying process and realizes complete automation in the glue-spraying process.This paper is an important part of the research content of provincial key projects in cooperation with glasses manufacturers.The main work and innovative research include: 1)Build a intelligent spray system based on machine vision,including: automatical feeding system,workpiece transfer system,visual inspection system,motion control system,glue supply system.2)Calibrated the intelligent spraying system,solving the problem that changing track from pixel coordinates to motion coordinates,and then generating a motion program which can be recognized by the system.According to the mechanical structure of the intelligent spraying system designed in this paper,two system calibration methods are proposed.The error of system calibration is obtained through experiments,two system calibration methods are verified,and the accuracy of the method is compared and analyzed.3)Aiming at the problem that the motion curve is not smooth and the acceleration of motion curve drastic change can affects the processing quality,a method on the basis of the 3 B-spline for optimizing the motion curve is proposed,by adding,replacing,and moving the control points to the motion curve smoothed and meet the requirement of machining error.The practicality of the machining path optimization method is verified by calculating the acceleration change before and after the optimization of the trajectory optimization and the error after the trajectory optimization.4)Developed the intelligent spraying system software based on the Visual Studio 2010,and integrated the system calibration and track optimization into the software,easy for the operator to used..The intelligent spray test system was built to spray the glue test.The experiment shows that the intelligent glue spray system designed in this paper can accurately extract the trajectory information of the workpiece,and generated motion track.The design of the intelligent spraying system completely replaces the participation of the artificial labor in the existing spraying system,improves the efficiency and accuracy,and promotes the development of the glue glue link to the intelligent direction.
