With the rapid development of Chinese economy,China's traditional equipment manufacturing industry is escalating,demand in the market demand and technical progress,the industrial robot application in the field of auto parts in recent years obtained the unprecedented rapid development,the industrial robot is a collection of the information technology,sensor technology,precision drive technology,drive manufacturing technology,digital control technology,IT technology in a body's comprehensive high and new products.Its application in the manufacturing and processing of piston has been expanding continuously,which brings a new push to the current intelligent trend of piston manufacturing and processing equipment.Because industrial robot itself possess universality and suitability of the inevitable,suitable for many kinds of workpiece in large,medium and small batch manufacture,since the 70 s,industrial robots and digital control machine tools together,become a flexible manufacturing cell or the composition of the local flexible manufacturing system.But in the current application of the robot,for robotic automation equipment of integrated design,modification,process monitoring,the forecast of product manufacturability aspects such as the lack of rapid response,industrial robot automatic casting machine virtual simulation technology is used by the robot technology combined with computer technology,the use of virtual reality technology,in the virtual environment demonstrate the simulation process of pouring machine manufacturing,so that they can use more economical,reasonable and effective way to rational allocation of the piston casting machine,reduce equipment investment risk,it has become a industrial robots are in auto parts industry and even the entire application development the inevitable trend of automatic manufacturing industry.Taking BCMT2-136-R piston casting machine as the research object,to further improve and perfect the application of robot automatic piston casting machine design,we choose ABB Robotstudio software,using Robotstudio software to the simulation of robot automatic piston casting machine,on the composition of the piston casting machine,pouring method,programming,program design and simulation are studied,such as It has a CAD model import,overall path planning,contains the editor program,the overall path optimization,the interference to the detection,virtual demonstrator,event table,collision detection,again development,auxiliary tools and program edit download import,etc,can use the ABB industry robot to complete the piston automatic pouring technology solutions,for automatic piston casting machine put into use to provide theoretical basis and experimental platfonn.
