The automatic production of mechanical arms has promoted all kinds of industries from traditional manual operations to mechanical automation operations.The use of robotic arm technology has reduced the labor intensity of workers,improved work efficiency and the core competitiveness of enterprises.Putting the book core manually is needed in the printing plant.The high frequency of input book is easy to cause the operator to fatigue,and the mistakes such as the reverse input,the book block dislocation and other errors,and cause a waste of paper.In this paper,in order to meet the specific needs of manufacturers,we have researched and designed an automatic robotic arm for the issue of input book for the printing factory.According to the composition,classification of the robotic arm and motion analysis of throwing task,it is determined that the entire automatic throwing mechanical arm is composed of four degrees of freedom and a terminal executive gripper,and the motion planning and main structure functions of each component are analyzed,the driving method of the key structure is determined.After determining the overall design,the mechanical part of the automatic throwing arm was designed,and the transmission structure was selected for the base,arm and wrist respectively,and the design contents of the grip,base and arm were accurately summarized.The SolidWorks software is used to realize the solid modeling and assembly of each part,and the interference problem of the automatic arm assembly is tested to determine the initial rationality of the design.Since the selection of key components of the automatic throwing mechanical arm directly affects the rationality of the design,the ball screw of the main components capable of realizing the lifting and telescopic functions and the driving motor of each component are calculated and checked.The ANSYS Workbench software is used to perform finite element analysis on the static components and dynamics of key components and the whole machine.By solving the stress and deformation cloud images in the results,it is verified whether the selected design materials and structures meet the strength and stiffness requirements.According to the natural frequency of the modal analysis in the kinetic analysis and the stress and displacement frequency curves in the vibration mode and harmonic response analysis,it is analyzed whether the selected design materials and structures meet the requirements of dynamic strength,dynamic stiffness and stability.The structure strengthens and avoids dangerous frequency points to ensure the safety and rationality of the design.Through the simple optimization and enhancement of the design and simulation of the automatic throwing mechanical arm,the rationality,safety and reliability of the design scheme of the automatic throwing mechanical arm are determined to meet the demand of reprinting book block in the printing plant.
