Multi-sensor networks are based on sensor technology, combining embedded technology with MEMS and wireless communication technologies. The multi-sensor network is composed of a large number of micro-sensor nodes deployed in the detection area, and forms a multi-hop self-organizing network system through wireless communication, which can coordinate real-time monitoring, data acquisition, and process the collected data.Transfer to users who need information.Multi-sensor network is one of the emerging technologies in the future. Its development and wide application will have a great impact on people's social life and social changes.Firstly,In this paper, the concept, architecture and characteristics of multi-sensor networks are briefly introduced.Through the research of the communication network structure of the monitoring system,it is found that most of the existing communication technologies are very mature, and the bottom layer is composed of a large number of micro-sensor nodes with weak computing and communication capabilities.Because of the limitations of sensor nodes,a large number of sensor nodes need to work together to complete the task. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the network layer in the sensor network system.Secondly, this thesis deeply studies the communication protocol in multi-sensor networks.Through the theoretical analysis and simulation methods, some classical routing algorithms are introduced firstly, and the parameters of control communication energy consumption are analyzed by MATLAB simulation.Based on this,an improved routing algorithm based on TEEN protocol for optimizing cluster head probability and cluster head coverage area is proposed. Finally, the improved algorithm is simulated in MATLAB environment. The experimental results show that the improved algorithm can reduce the energy consumption of nodes in the monitoring area and prolong the life of multi-sensor networks.
