With the continuous development of mobile communication and the increasing demand of users,it is necessary to study the LTE indoor distribution system in order to increase the traffic volume and improve the network quality.Firstly,the paper briefly introduces the indoor distribution system.Based on the analysis of several existing indoor distribution systems,the structure,design principles and design standards of the LTE indoor distribution system are discussed.Secondly,the technical standards and specifications of the omni-directional celling antenna used in the LTE indoor distribution system are described.The methods for measuring the parameters such as gain,radiation pattern,and power capacity are introduced in detail.Two kinds of widely used antenna structures are mainly studied.The influence of antenna structure parameters on the performances such as ellipticity,gain and return loss are analyzed by HFSS simulation,and compared with the measurement results.The S11 of direct feed single cone antenna and the asymmetric double cone antenna are less than-10 dB in 0.8 GHz-2.7 GHz,and the gain at low frequency and high frequency is above 2dBi and 5dBi respectively.Asymmetric double cone antenna is better than direct feed single cone antenna and has a wider coverage.Thirdly,combined with the directional pastrength rameters of the antenna,WinProp software is used to predict the signal in the room.It is verified that the asymmetric double cone antenna has a wider field coverage than the direct feed single cone antenna.Win Prop's Opt Man's indoor network optimization function has been used in the establishment of the mall model.It has been achieved that the signal intensity received at every corner satisfies the minimum standard requirement using the minimum number of antennas to achieve indoor coverage.Finally,a case of LTE indoor distribution system is given,and the sub-system is designed according to the selection of design scheme,design ideas and design principles.Then the coverage area and coverage effect are predicted.Finally,the coverage capacity is compared according to link loss and link budget.The results show that LTE indoor coverage meets the criteria and standards of signal edge level.
