With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, the demand of the quality of indoor communication is rising and indoor antenna are widely used.As the terminal equipment, antenna plays a pivotal role in the indoor distribution system. The antenna’s performance has a direct impact on the reception room subsystems.Microstrip patch antenna has being widely applied to wireless communications, owing to its unique features, such as light weight, low cost, simple making process. What’s more,it is easy to be changed, integrated, and it has low profile. In this paper,by the use of patch antenna, two points antenna subsystem are designed, whose application is found in the chamber. This paper firstly describes the development of the mobile communication system, and then introduces the current state and prospects of chamber subsystems. It summarizes research status of base station antennas and indoor coverage antennas, and gives a brief introduction of several subsystems in modern room in antenna and the performance index of these antennas.Secondly, this paper provides an analysis of the basic principles of the microstrip antenna, summarizes the current techniques of multi-band patch antenna, and puts forward the feasibility of the patch antenna applied in the subsystem in a chamber. Finally,in this paper, the author designs two applications for the antenna subsystem in the room. One is the slim low profile multi-band patch antenna, which is designed by a circular patch. Using technology of Meandering, through the patch treatment unit slot and microstrip transmission lines using a gradient line Increased impedance bandwidth, particularly for low frequency applications with better improvement. The engineering application of the antenna is VSWR<1.3. The antenna meets these three communication bands:CDMA/GSM900; GSM1800/DCS; WLAN. As its lower skill profiles, it can be better blended with the environment so as to achieve a multi-band antenna, small, hidden features. The second one is a dual-band indoor ceiling antenna. Depending on traditional principles of ceiling antenna, and combined with its own characteristics, this antenna is to be applied indoors in mobile communications and cell coverage. Its production process is more convenient, and its structure is relatively simple. Both antennas can well meet the requirements of subsystems and be better used in the room coverage in order to make the antenna miniaturized and exclusive, so that they share promising market prospects.
