In recent year,with computer medical imaging drastically,it has been convenient and flexible for doctors and patients to get high-quality medical image sequences data.The segmentation and reconstruction of medical image sequences provides essential,scientific evidence for medical diagnosis and biomedical engineering study.Medical image segmentation technology is a significant step processing,whose accuracy in medical image plays a vital role in subsequent processing,including diagnosis.However,there exists no general methods of medical image segmentation due to the complexity of medical images.Three-dimensional reconstruction technique in obtain three-dimensional structure from two-dimensional sequence image and display it and presents a visual result for users.Interaction realizes multi-angle study and analysis so that it can improve the accuracy and scientificity of medical diagnosis.This paper mainly focuses on the medical image segmentation and reconstruction of spine and its surrounding tissues.First,the paper do researched on CT image,and the format of DICOM.ITK and VTK are to realize the reading and preprocessing of DICOM to analyse the effect of different smoothing methods and utilize window-leveling to acquire perfect medical preprocessing segmentation image.Take spine and lung as examples,the author utilizes threshold value and level set methods to segment target area and analyses the results of segmentation to get the feasibility of different characteristic tissues.The paper makes researches on three-dimensional methods on the basis of VTJ and programmes respectively to realize surface rendering and volume rendering for medical image sequences.Compare with advantages and disadvantages of two methods,the author choose surface rendering to reconstruct medical image sequences and store the result into STL,and provide reliable parameterized model for biomedical engineering and 3D printing.On the platform of QT5.8.0 and VS2013,the medical image processing software is developed by calling the ITK image processing library and the VTK visualization library to realize the reading,preprocessing,two-dimensional segmentation and 3D reconstruction of medical images.
