In the last 20 years, image processing has become a challenging subject,which caught great concern. medical imaging has become one of the fastest developing sectors, widely used in the diagnosis and treatment, It is an important means and tool for modern medicine.Medical image processing is a paramount aspects in medical imaging technigue.It settle medical images efficiently to raise the utilization rate of medical imaging. Information, which will help us achieve characteristics of pathological changes, make observing diseased region more direct for clinician, improving the rate of confirmed cases.According to the need of practical application, this paper has aslo selected some applicable and efficient arithmetic, designed and realized an image processing system basing on microcomputer, in the existing hardware condition of hospital. Which has realized the function of image file resolution and the regulating technology of dynamic window width and window level of DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine). It provides the disposal function and the realated user interface, including image denoising, image enhancement and image egmentation. At the same time, it has realized a semi-automatic iterative Image sequence segmentation algorithm for CT(Computed Tomogra), every segmentation of CT takes neighbor image segmentation areas as templates in order to choose seed nodes, initializes seed nodes filter by the results of grey level and threshold value after alternate operation, then processes the Region growing segmentation exactly inside the piece. After applying this method to the segmentation of angiography the result can be ideal.It is realized that constructing volume data by CT image sequence, which also provide pretreatment of volume data, surface rendering and volume rendering and corresponding visual control surfaces;Based on the study and analysis of MITK library classe, we achieve three dimensional visualization of medical series CT image.
