Industrial switches are network devices used in industrial production control and aerospace applications.With the continuous expansion of industrial production scale,the demand for industrial control networks has become increasingly diversified.Bandwidth,real-time performance and some new demands have gradually become the focus of the development of new industrial network switches.The network of the time-triggered Ethernet system has the characteristics of high bandwidth,strong real-time communication,and the ability to meet specific application requirement.Due to these characteristics,time-triggered Ethernet has received increasing attention since the beginning,and has been widely used in the field of industrial control and aerospace.The method of learning,research,analysis and simulation was adopted to deeply study time-triggered Ethernet.First of all,the application background of time-triggered Ethernet technology and the current research status at both home and abroad are introduced.Secondly,the fundamentals of time-triggered Ethernet technology and the overall architecture of the time-triggered Ethernet switch are described.Next,the multicast technology,traffic mirroring technology,and flow control technology for time-triggered Ethernet switches are described in detail.Fourth,the functional design and implementation of the traffic control module,multicast module and traffic module are performed for the corresponding requirements.Finally,the corresponding functional modules are simulated and verified.The simulation result shows that the module design is correct and reaches the expected goal.
