With the economic development in our country and the improvement of living standards of the people,the demand for catering is increasing and the scale of the catering industry is also expanding.The service has been transformed and diversified into a model for diversification which turns the restaurant industry into one of the fastest-growing industry in the modernized society.One of the problems,however,is that low work efficiency of employees in the restaurant industry generally and large loss of customers.Nowadays,the computerization of information technology is constantly improving.When this technology is applied to the management model of catering industry,human resources will be saved and the overall management level and work efficiency will be improved at the same time.Therefore,the development of a high-quality catering management system has become an important focus of modern management in the restaurant industry.Aiming at the problems of low work efficiency and the demand analysis of catering management system in current management of catering industry,in this paper,a set of catering management system based on.NET platform is developed.The feasibility analysis function and non-functional requirement analysis are included in the system.Under the Visual Studio development environment,the C/S desktop application was established.Then the various human-computer interaction interfaces of the catering management system were designed and realized by using C#language,the programming of each function module in the interface and the read and write operation of the database were completed.The function module includes the front business module,the back office management module and the report center module.The front business module can realize functions such as opening a single order,receiving a reservation,closing a cash register and handing over a shift class,etc;The backstage management module can realize employee data registration,dishes file settings and other functions;reporting center module can realize the inquiring of historical consumers' records,the statistics of zero sales dishes and the supporting of fuzzy query operations.In this paper,in order to find out the association rules between dishes when guests are ordering,a method based on Apriori algorithm in the association rules is applied to the large amount of orders for guests after meals.First,the MATLAB programs based on the Apriori algorithm are completed,we select 1520 samples after preprocessing.Then the method in this paper is applied to find out the strong association rules among dishes.We set the support value of 0.02,the confidence value of 0.6,the number of rules to produce a valid 21.Third,according to the size of confidence to recommend to the guests with strong relevance of the dishes.The efficiency of ordering the restaurant is improving and human resources are saving by the proposed method,and it provides the theoretical basis for the restaurant management to improve the management mode and marketing mode.Finally,as a whole using black-box test method,multiple tests of including login functions,permissions functions,front business module,background management module and reporting center module of the catering management system are carried out.We repair of errors timely,and the system has a reliable and effective operation conditions.It will solve the problem during practical application and reach the overall requirements of designing and development.The restaurant management software system has been put into operation for 6 months,the effect is well.
