Software testing is the process of running or testing a software system by the manual or automatic means,with the purpose of checking whether it meet the specified requirements or finding out the difference between expected results and actual results.Software testing includes functional testing,performance testing,security testing,and characteristic test,among which,performance testing refers to the test on various performance indexes of the system by means of automated test tools to simulate various normal,peak value and abnormal load conditions.Performance testing plays an important role in software quality assurance,and it is also a difficult test technique.In the performance test,not only performance testing tools need to be familiar with,but also the ability of coding ability and data analysis is required.With the right scripts creation,script execution and data analysis,to realize the rounded analysis on performance of the system to be tested and the forecast of bottleneck.This paper,taking the facial recognition system as the test object,carried out the analysis and study on software performance test.First of all,the current implementation of software performance test in industry is analyzed,including the degree of emphasis and the strength on investment,and comparing it with others countries and regions with developed performance test.Secondly,a set of solutions with respect to the performance test of facial recognition system is developed on the basis of facial recognition system.The study and elaboration are implemented from the aspects of performance test scene,selection method of performance test scene,schematic design of performance test,and tool selection of performance test.Deeply analysing of each test result was conducted to indicate the causes of the bottleneck of this module's performance,such as broadband of network,SQL statement redundancy,and so on.It has put forward specific suggestions for solving the promble of the causes of performance bottlenecks.The experimental results showthat the improved performance indicators have been optimized.It has certain reference and practical value for the update of subsequent version and similar software testing.Finally,this paper summarizes this article and puts forward the deficiencies of the study and the next research plan.
