The Toronto Star is Canada's largest daily newspaper,which is with the largest leadership in the country.This paper is published seven days every week in the greater Toronto area and owned by Toronto Star Newspaper Limited which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Torstar Corporation.Analysis on the Toronto Star can be effective to get to know how current public opinion is formed in Toronto centered Canada English-speaking area.To use framing theory is comparatively a good way to examine the Toronto Star,as framing can be considered commonly used in analyzing newspaper contents.Framing firstly appeared in the field of sociology,after which it has been through a rapid development since the middle twenties century(1960s),when We can confidently say that framing has become a mixed paradigm that allows the holistic study of media effects on individuals and audiences.Not being only located in the sender of information,framing located in four essentials of the communicative line: the producer,the receiver,the message and culture.This article,in the form of statements and analysis on The Toronto Star covering Chinese communities,trying to examine the framing frames Toronto Star used on Chinese communities from January 2015 to September 2017,aimed to see the newspaper's attitudes and even public opinion orientation towards Chinese centered communities.
