Nowadays, the media images constructed in mass media not only provide the essential sensation factor for us, but also constitute our cognition society to be "real". This paper considers that the media image is not the real world's simply representation in mass media; it involves meaning transmission between the mass media and the audience, and manifesting one kind of dynamic constructive process. At the same time, the framing theory's philosophical basis is the social constructivism school's core viewpoint. It regards the news as the subjective construction of society, and the audiences as the initiative role in the media image's construction process. The frame and the construction of media image have a kind of natural logical connection.This paper bases on the social constructivism school's viewpoint, through the theory literature review, the illustration study of the theory, and the illustrative analysis of a representative news case, to analyze the medium image's dynamic constructive process from the framing theory angle. And this paper considers this question on two aspects, including the news production and the audience psychological mechanism. On the one hand, the mass media produce media images through the news frame's selecting and presenting. On the other hand, through the activation or the renewal of the given organization frame, the audiences carries on the initiative construction of the media image. Under the two kinds of frame's dual construction, the media images accomplish the meaning's transmission. And this is a set of complete mechanisms.Accordingly, this paper proposes that in the media images' construction process, the mass media should choose and the use news frame correctly, in order to represent the real society to be an objective one. Simultaneously, it should also pay attention to the audience frame's status and effect in media images' construction, make the of the communication effect to the optimization.
