With the rapid popularization of mobile Internet, the demand of end users for broadband access has increased dramatically, and the problem of network energy consumption will become an increasingly serious concern. The tidal effect leads to the low utilization rate of the base station at the same time.Traditional wireless access network architecture faces the challenge of reducing costs, improving performance and saving energy and reducing emission in the mobile Internet era.The new radio access network architecture C-RAN has been one of the industry's high-profile solutions due to its advantages including centralized processing, green cleaning, cloud computing, etc. This thesis presents a comprehensive and in-depth study on C-RAN with the actual project case. This thesis starts from the development status of telecom industry, analyzes the problems and challenges that the wireless access network with traditional architecture facing in the mobile Internet era, respectively.Followed by a brief introduction of the basic principles of wireless networks, this thesis introduced the transmission network technology, wireless access technology, core network cloud processing technology in detail. This thesis deeply studies the key technologies of C-RAN architecture, analyzes the challenges faced by C-RAN and the solution of transmission.Combined with the practical application of Jiangsu Mobile C-RAN project, this thesis studies the distributed Huawei CloudBB networking and centralized Huawei CloudBB Network under the station CA,Station CoMP and other wireless collaboration technology, etc. This thesis designs the scheme to compare and test the existing network data of two different network structures and achieved satisfactory results, which can provide a reference for the follow-up C-RAN popularization and construction.
