In recent years,as people's living standards continue to rise,people pay more and more attention to health.Walking is widely used as a common form of exercise for the general public.The energy consumption in the process of walking exercise has become a research hotspot,and how to quantify the amount of exercise in daily walking becomes a key factor.Nowadays,pedometer as one of the most commonly used equipment for monitoring walking.It is mainly used to detect the amount of walking steps,but it does not reflect the exercise intensity during walking,and it cannot meet the increasing needs of people.The parameter of step frequency reflects the change of exercise intensity during walking,and it can quantify the amount of exercise by assessing the exercise intensity of daily walking.At the same time,the step frequency as a kinematic index,it is easy to be captured and calculated,it can be better guide people's health and exercise.Therefore,the design and implementation of portable frequency test instrument to meet the actual needs of the upgrading of sports products.The design and implementation of this project based on the energy consumption model of portable step frequency tester,is to monitor people's step frequency in walking process.Use inertial sensors to acquire gait information.Optimize the existing step algorithm to improve accuracy.The number of steps in the walking movement of the user is recorded.Based on this,he introduction of time to obtain the step frequency parameters.At the same time,the energy consumption model with the step frequency as the main parameter is proposed and the energy consumption value caused by walking movement is calculated.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The data collected by the MPU6050 six-axis sensor is transformed into the attitude angle by the quaternion method,and the feature extraction and the motion recognition algorithm are also performed.The step algorithm is optimized and the result is more accurate.On this basis,using the microcontroller STM32F103 introduce the time to obtain the key parameters,step frequency,in this paper.Monitor step frequency parameters during walking.(2)Study the current walking energy consumption model,analyze the biological factors affecting the energy consumption model: height,weight and sex,and introduce the step frequency parameters on the basis of the analysis,obtain the energy consumption equation taking the step frequency as the main parameter,And verify that the step frequency and energy consumption are a U-shaped relationship.(3)Introduce the optimized energy consumption model in the system implementation code of the portable step frequency tester,and test it,and obtain the energy consumption value when the step frequency is different during the walking.Through the evaluation and analysis of the test results of the portable step frequency tester,it is concluded that the energy consumption value of the person at the comfortable step frequency is the lowest.The portable step frequency tester designed and implemented in this project monitors the frequency parameters of the human body and improves the accuracy of calculating the energy consumption during the walking.It provides a convenient and intuitive calculation of energy consumption for walking exercise activities,and guides people in science for walking activities.
