Nowadays, information technology is everywhere in society, people’s daily life activities are closely related in gathering, transmission and processing of the development of information resources. Especially, since the beginning of the21st century, people access to the means of information put forward higher requirements. In the number of information technology, the rapid development of modern sensor technology, which is the most important means to obtain information, application areas, greatly contributed to the emergence of wireless sensor networks(WSN), makes it an immeasurable application prospects. In the foreseeable future, wireless sensor networks will rely on its "ubiquitous computing" profound change in the various fields of human production and life are closely related. However, the energy of the wireless sensor network is very limited, so a hot issue in wireless sensor network research is how to conserve energy extending the life cycle of the network, to solve this problem memories from the three areas of the network nodes, network energy consumption departure and node data transceiver.First, the thesis discusses the wireless sensor network architecture, the characteristics of the network protocol stack, network topology and applications, as well as the wireless sensor network routing protocols and their classification, topology control, and its significance. And then, a mathematical analysis of the model, the network model, network energy consumption patterns and to improve the energy consumption model works, the demonstration of these principles, analysis and performance analysis model, then communication energy consumption parameter model.Then, this network model assumptions and establish energy consumption patterns and simulation by changing the performance parameters of the model and the analysis of the experimental data to illustrate the correctness of the theory and mathematical analysis, it verifies the minimum the principle of energy consumption. The Sink node is verified that it will be located in the regional node.The Sink node set to the position of the center of gravity of the cluster head node, you can ensure that the energy consumption of the network’s longest survival of the smallest node. Performance analysis of the patterns of energy consumption through improved energy model.
