Design And Implementation Of An Integrated Lottery Service Platform

With the rapid development of Internet in China,many lottery operators chose to sell lottery tickets online through cooperating with Internet enterprises.The Internet lottery sales was increasing year by year,and the highest record of the Internet lottery sales accounted for about 1/4 of the total,which contributed a lot to the growth of lottery industry,and developed a large scale of online lottery players.However,some illegal operations that appeared during the online lottery boom caused huge negative social impact,so that multiple national departments jointly released regulations to suspend the online lottery sales.Due to the Internet lottery ban,the overall lottery sales dropped sharply,and as a result the lottery centers at all levels have been facing great pressure since then.The project,the Integrated Lottery Service Platform,was born because of the above problems,and it aims to guide the online lottery players to offline retailers.This article is about the integrated lottery service platform 's design and implementation in light of the marketing practice.On the integrated lottery service platform,the lottery players can buy lottery and get an opportunity to participate in the promotion activities,which are possible to provide a second chance to win the lottery.It attracts the lottery players to buy lotteries from the offline retailers,because more lotteries mean more winning chances.The main feature of this system is lottery sales promotion,and it covers four steps,including launching,signing up,drawing,and award cashing.The system consists of three subsystems,including the mobile client,service backend,and the management subsystems.The Mobile client subsystem is a smart phone application.The registered lottery players can scan the two-dimensional bar code on the lottery tickets to participate in activities.When they win,they can file the personal information online,so that the awards will be delivered to their homes.The Service backend subsystem provides interfaces for the mobile client subsystem,which applies the distributed microservice architecture powered by Spring Cloud in order to fulfill high performance requirements of numerous transactions in short promotion period,especially concurrent access peaks before drawing.The management subsystem provides management,data analysis and report query for the lottery promotion activities.The bulky data of the information of players,enrollment,and geographic location is extracted and analyzed in use of the large data analysis technology.The results are visualized by the maps,to illustrate promotion overview and in-time market feedback,so it provides decision supports for lottery game design and market planning.The system has already been developed and deployed in many provinces,and the following achievements have been realized:The platform makes an innovation of the instant draw lottery business,which explores a new business model,increases the sales and improves the management efficiency.The microservice framework is adopted in the system development for the instant lottery games instead of the old-style application architecture,which not only greatly improves the system's performance and scalability,but also saves the infrastructure investment,so that the system building costs are significantly cut down.
