With the development of information society,more and more frequency bands have been opened up.All kinds of wireless communication products are not only applied in military defense field,but also gradually integrated into our daily life.There is a growing demand for smaller,lighter and more reliable antennas.Therefore,it is an inevitable trend in the development of microwave millimeter-wave antenna to reduce the volume and weight of wireless equipment and improve its reliability.In this trend,the application of Substrate Integrated Waveguide(SIW)technology is increasing.According to the current demand of miniaturized,low-profile and high-gain directional antennas,the following research work is mainly completed in this paper:(1)In this paper,a broadband low-profile microstrip-SIW transition structure is designed.|S11| of the structure is less than-10 d B in the 21.8-60 GHz frequency band,the gain is greater than 4 d Bi,and the polarization direction dimension is about 0.35?L.This structure is the basis for the subsequent antenna design.(2)In this paper,a SIW high gain directional antenna with a front-end loading dielectric rod is designed.The reflectance of this antenna is basically less than-10 d B in the 25.3-45 GHz.The gain of antenna in working frequency band is above 12 d Bi,the maximum gain is 17 d Bi.The main lobe width of pattern change between 26.3-37.5° and the dimension in the polarization direction is about 0.35?L.(3)A SIW directional antenna with front-end loading of H plane sectorial horn is designed.The reflectance of this antenna is less than-10 d B in the 25.1-40.2 GHz.The gain of antenna in working frequency band is above 6 d Bi,and the dimension in the polarization direction is about 0.35?L.(4)In this paper,a SIW high gain directional antenna with H plane horn and dielectric rod at the front of SIW is proposed.When the microstrip-SIW transition structure with linear gradient thickness of the dielectric substrate is used for the antenna,the reflection coefficient of this structure is less than-10 d B within the frequency band of 25.9-64.5 GHz.The main lobe of the antenna's radiation pattern changes between 24-37°,and the frequency band of gain in more than 12 d Bi,bring the biggest gain for 17 d Bi.The antenna reflectance in the 25.8-40.8 GHz frequency band is less than-10 d B after the antenna adopts a stepped transition structure.The main lobe of the antenna's radiation pattern changes between 22.2-37°,and the frequency band of gain is more than 12 d Bi,and the dimension in the polarization direction is about 0.35?L.(5)A SIW high gain directional antenna loaded with a parabolic cylinder is proposed.The reflectance of this antenna is basically less than-10 d B in the 26.5-41.5 GHz.The gain of antenna in working frequency band is above 12 d Bi,the maximum gain is 19 d Bi.The width of the 3 d B main lobe of the E plane pattern is between 35-47°,and the main lobe width of the H surface pattern is 2.8-5°.The size of the antenna is 150 mm×83.3 mm×4 mm,and the size of the antenna in the polarization direction is 0.35?L.(6)A SIW high-gain directional antenna with a parabolic cylinder surface and hyperbolic cylinder surface is proposed.The reflectance of this antenna is basically less than-10 d B in the 26.3-41.8 GHz.The gain of antenna in working frequency band is above 12 d Bi,the maximum gain is 16.5 d Bi.The width of the 3 d B main lobe of the E plane pattern is between 31-51.6°,and the main lobe width of the H surface pattern is 2-3°.The size of the antenna is 190 mm×63 mm×4 mm.The antennas are modeled,simulated and optimized by CST Microwave Studio? electromagnetic simulation software.The results of the test show that the experimental results of the above antennas are in good agreement with the simulation results.In addition,this paper also elaborates the design process of antenna in detail,and explains the working mechanism of antenna.The antennas designed in this paper have the characteristics of broadband,low profile and high gain,and has great practical engineering application value.
