Because of the carbon film potentiometers' high accuracy and stability,they are widely used in high-precision fields such as aerospace.At present,we usually make carbon film potentiometers by spraying.However,the accuracy of the manufacturing of carbon film potentiometers sometimes cannot meets the requirements due to the limitation of the manufacturing process and relevant theories,which leads to a lot of rework sprays,longer potentiometer production cycles and waste of materials.This thesis starts from the carbon film accumulation mechanism.Through the analysis of the principle of atomization,we find the factors that influence the accuracy of the potentiometers.Then,the factors in manufacture process which also play great role in the accuracy of carbon film were analyzed and classified.According to the structure of the spray gun and chucking appliance,a carbon film potentiometer spraying model was established.Then,on the basis of existing models,we analyse the correlation factors by the Computational Fluid Dynamics.and use the simulation results to modify the theories model.Nondestructive examination technology was applied to analyse the film thickness uniformity of the carbon film potentiometer.By comparing the linearity of the carbon film potentiometers and the uniformity of the film layer,the relationship between them will be obtained.Meanwhile the simulation and the theory model will be corrected.Finally,according to the actual production requirements,the carbon film potentiometer spraying equipment was modified to reduce the scrap rate and increase production efficiency.Because the materials are very expensive and the quantity of the experiment is very large.we look for a replacement material and carry on the experiment to validate the validity of this material.Relying on the modified carbon film potentiometer spraying equipment,the carbon film potentiometer spraying process test was conducted.Then,the data obtained by the carbon film potentiometer spraying experiment was analyzed and processed by the means of ANOVA.Ultimately,a set of optimization parameters is obtained by this method.
