A Study On Heavy Trucks Cab Spray By Robotic

With the Large-Scale,high-quality and low-cost of the automobile production , nonpolluting production has been paid more and more attention. The traditional manual spraying has been already unable to meet the demands. As automobile industry calling for increasingly high quality of the appearance quality, the precision of the automatic spray apparatus and the stability of the paint film quality becomes more and more important. with the advantages of high efficiency, uniform coating, less pollution and adapting to large-scale automatic production,robot spraying is widely used in the automobile production line and becomes the most important approaches in the automobile body coating.In this paper the layout of the spraying robot and the spraying station has been designed by analysis of the heavy truck cab external structure and the spraying characteristics of the spraying robot. Taking heavy truck cab spraying as example in this paper ,the scientific and rational spraying system of the painting robot is designed which bases on the heavy truck cab external structure and the application characteristics of the spraying robot, and the robot spraying procedures is compiled which bases on the manufacturing process.With the FANUC的P200-E spraying robot , the advanced Spin Cup technology and domestic advanced manufacturing technology , the heavy truck cab spraying technology reaches advanced level. The robot spraying station and the automatic spraying pipeline with the domestic advanced level and international level is designed, which bases on domestic and oversea advanced technology and advanced key parts assembly. It reduces manual labor intensity , improves the coating quality of the heavy truck cab, enhances production efficiency, and decreases paint consumption,which creates great economic benefit for the truck company.The research achievement of this paper establishes the foundation for the robot spraying station designing for large area work piece, and it also provides the method and experience for continuous production with the spraying robot.
