Design And Implementation Of Body Balance Measurement System

The balance function is a very important body function,and it has a direct effect on normal life activities.Due to an aging population growing,the declining physical function of the elderly and the influence of some diseases,it is easy to accidentally leads to lost balance and bring threat to the health and life security of old people,so balance test in the field of medical rehabilitation in the elderly subject gradually get the attention of people.Thanks to the popularity of Android smart phones,An android-based system for measurement of body balance is proposed,which can be used to test the balance ability quickly and easily.In order to design a fully functional and accurate balance measurement system,firstly,the demand of balance measurement system is analyzed from the user's point of view and the function of the system is introduced preliminarily.Then the system architecture is designed.The client uses the Android technology.The phone communicates with the balance tester via bluetooth and obtains the data from the tester.Based on these data,the coordinates of the center of gravity in the plane of the tester are calculated,and then 30 balance indexes for evaluating the balance ability are calculated.Based on the knowledge of mathematical statistics,an evaluation system is established for evaluating the tester's balance ability.The server uses mainstream J2 EE and combines the currently common development framework.My SQL is used as a background database to store user information and test data.Then the system is divided into registered login module,personal information management module,balance detection module,historical records and test personnel management module and these modules are designed and implemented in detail.Finally,the modules of the system are tested to ensure the stability of the system.The results of system test show that the system is stable and can reflect the balance ability of human body to some extent.It can be popularized and applied in medical rehabilitation,sports,dance and other fields.
