In recent years,with the joint efforts of many professional scholars and enthusiasts,the informatization of Chinese and the digitization of Chinese characters have achieved very rapid development.Among them,the Chinese input method is one area where the development is exceptionally outstanding.It also witnessed and represented the whole process.In the field of Chinese input method,the size of the dictionary,the program of the Chinese character encoding,the input efficiency,and even the functions of the input method programs,all have been pleasing to the world with innovation and progress.However,the existing Chinese input methods still fail to properly handle the problems of the increasing Chinese characters with same codes and the low efficiency of inputting rare characters accompanying the expansion of the dictionary.To solve these problems,inspired by the menu function and Diqiu Pinyin input scheme of Rime input method,on one hand,I will try to divide the dictionary into sub-dictionaries and use a menu to switch them in order to distribute characters with same codes and reduce its rate.On the other hand,I will try to use the auxiliary codes to filter character,instead of flipping the pages,which is called hierarchical coding.Since Rime input method is chosen as the platform and development environment of this research,it is first necessary to be familiar with its characteristics and various basic operations,especially the generation of custom input schemes.Later,after full consideration and investigation,it's found that there are roughly three ways to achieve the switching of sub-dictionaries.They are to generate independent input schemes for each sub-dictionaries,to be embedded as the reverse lookup scheme,and to programme.In addition to reducing the rate of the characters with same codes by dividing and switching sub-dictionaries,hierarchical coding is also worth trying,thus I proposed the idea of hierarchical coding.By setting two levels of auxiliary codes with different properties after the main code,the auxiliary t codes are used to filter character candidates,and different auxiliary codes perform different functions to achieve so-called hierarchical coding.With the support of the Rime input method and its spelling algebra,the input schemes and the auxiliary codes for each sub-dictionaries correspond to their respective roles,which,to a large extent,play a role in reducing the rate of the same-code words,facilitating the input of rare characters and increasing the input efficiency.
