The "channel" of Lasswell's "5W" model are always not valued or even ignored. However the Internet has profoundly changed the channels and the old channels needs to be updated. Therefore, the "channel" has become the most worthy of study. This article starts with "channel" and believes that "relationship" causes this change. Then propose to fully understand the current channel through the concept of"communication path".This path is a combination of channels that are closely related to users and varied. The government's network communication is used as an example to clarify the type of communication channels. The self-constructed channels are different from traditional mass communication models;the platform helps to achieve accurate communication;embedded social network is using the interpersonal networks.Through empirical research,on one hand, the degree of use of the relationship network and aggregation platform is higher than the government self-built channel, the relationship between users and channels in known. On the other hand, there is an channel combination, which is the communication path mentioned in this paper. Then analyze how the communication path is formed. On one hand, combined with the empirical research results, analysis leads to " relationships " that has an impact on the change of channels:the core of self-built channels is the construction of user relationships;the core of the aggregation platform is using relational data;in relational networks, the relationship with the nodes must be improved in order to be embedded. It means that government's network communication is not only the information, but more importantly,it is the relationship with users. On the other hand, the capital conversion lead to channels' combination, and finally forms a three-dimensional communication path based on the Internet.
