There is a controversy about whether there is a connection between the Internet and social capital and how it is related. In the field of social capital research quite achievements of political scientist Robert Putnam believes that the Internet will reduce the use of social capital. The reason is that the use of the Internet will indirectly reduce the people in the real world of social participation time. There are also many scholars who believe that the use of the Internet can increase social capital. Wellman, a Canadian scholar, has suggested that the Internet can help people reach a conclusion that they can expand their social networks. Such an argument in the study of the Internet and social capital has been linked to the occurrence of. However Granovetter’s strength theory to the debate over the party provides new theoretical basis, strong ties and weak ties in the provision of information resources of different seems to have a different effect on the accumulation of social capital. Therefore, the research on the relationship between the Internet and social capital has begun to develop into the relationship between the Internet and the strength of the Internet.In this thesis, This study selected agency youth network game as the research object, study two groups of college students and migrant workers of the network game behavior whether the social capital and tries to find out their association with the changes of social capital. In particular, the network game is that it is through the game will be thecommon interest of people together, and to provide them with dialogue, communication and sharing of social interaction, such as the spread of space. The study found that young college students are more inclined to use online games to accumulate social capital, while migrant workers are less able to save social capital at the same time of using online games.
