Surface plasmon resonance?SPR?sensors has the advantages of real-time monitoring,label-free detection,less sample needed,highly repetitive.It can be widely used in food detection clinic diagnosis,biometrics and medicine etc.With the development of SPRtechnology,the number of parameters to be measured is increasing.Increasingthe number of channels is regarded as an effective way.At present,the research on the multi-channel technology of SPR is more common in the prism structure,but the research on optical fiber SPR is rare.Compared with the prism,optical fiber SPR sensing probe has the advantages of small size,can be directly immersed in the solution to be measured.In order to compensate for the interference of the background refractive index and the effective measurement of the specific binging,multi-channel SPR sensor needs to be urgently developed.In this work,there are four kinds of multi-channel sensing systems and a new sensing technology proposed.The main contents are as following:1.Based on the basic theory of surface plasmon polaritons,this paper expounds the basic properties of SPR wave?Then introduce the characteristics and background of SPR sensing technology.Describe the status and progress of SPR sensing technology,then analyze the different kinds of optical fiber SPR sensors and theirs application in sensor technology.2.Combine wavelength-division multiplexing?WDM?with prism and optical fiber SPR sensors,we design Au/ITO,Ag/ITO double-layer membrane prism SPR system.And Ag/Au,Au/ITO/Au multi-layer membrane fiber SPR sensor system,and detect its sensing property.Refractive index sensitivities and precisions of two systems are 3741nm/RIU and 1.12×10-5,2736 nm/RIU and 1.84×10-5 separately.The detection of ConA?Concanavalin A?is carried out,experimental results show that the system can realize real-time monitoring of biomolecule binding process.3.Combine time-division multiplexing?TDM?with optical fiber SPR sensors,propose a new sensing system combine WDM and TDM,which has four-channel SPR sensors.The sensing system is simple,easy to operate and low cost.4.Although SPR sensing is currently a mature technology,typically the sample temperature needs to be carefully considered and singal also varies with temperature.The article describe a new double-wavelength technique to simultaneously measure changes in refractive index and temperature.This technique facilitates a way for traditional SPR sensrs to dectect refractive index in different temperature enviroments,and may lead to better design and fabrication of SPR snesors anginst temperature variation.
