With the advent of the post-industrial era in China, the life of urban residents has gradually entered the stage of pursuing quality of life. The growth of per capita income makes the residents' consumption structure shift from non-material consumption to non-material consumption self-satisfaction,The performance of residents in daily life more patronize in the middle and high-end commercial cultural and entertainment place. As a kind of intellectually-enhanced cultural and entertainment place, the museum's large-scale construction and rapid development are the inevitable result of the development of modern cities.Correspondingly,museum-related research has gradually become the focus of museology, architecture, urban planning and geography,Among them, geography focuses on the study of the spatial layout of the museum. This paper fistly uses the analysis methods of nearest neighbor index, nuclear density index and Gini coefficient to discuss the spatial distribution characteristics of Xi'an museum.Use this as a macro background, based on the micro-location theory,Xi'an museum was analyzed for location factors. It aims to provide references for government management departments and museum decision-makers in the implementation of the future construction of museums in the region,so as to make the museum more rational and targeted. The paper studies the spatial distribution and the micro-location factors of Xi'an museum from three parts: The first part(chapter1~3)is the stage of theoretical research.First,to clarify the background and significance of this study,to delineate the scope of research,to clarify the research ideas. Then,it review the theory of location, the spatial distribution of public service facilities at domestic and foreign, and the spatial distribution of museums in museology, architecture, and human geography. And it explained the typical cases of micro-location theory, public facility location theory, spatial structure theory, and did a good job of preparatory work for research; The second part(chapter4~5)is the stage of empirical research.Through network map tools and field surveys, collect the required geographical information data, and analyze the spatial distribution of museums of the Xi'an and the main city area.Provide background framework for subsequent micro-location factor analysis.Based on the field questionnaire and surveys, the AHP analysis method was used to determine the importance of each index factor, and then the indexes required for analysis of Xi'an museum's micro-location factor were selected to analyze the micro-location factor of typical museums in Xi'an;The third part(chapter6~7)is the stage of countermeasure research.Based on the empirical research, summarizes the problems of the micro-location layout of Xi'an museum, and puts forward the corresponding optimization strategies,so as to provide some references and help for the development of Xi'an museum.Through the above analysis,it is found that the micro-location factors of Xi'an museum include location accessibility, visibility, proper stop, accessibility, regional(domain)traditional image reputation, historical and cultural harmony, economy accessibility, similar industry aggregation level and related format distribution, etc. From the micro-location theory, the spatial distribution of the Xi'an museum micro-location has an uneven distribution, with problems such as the visibility and accessibility are not high, the parking lot configuration is unreasonable, and the professional museum's own reputation is not high.Correspondingly, balance the differences in the distribution of inner and outer citiesim, prove museum visibility and accessibility, pay attention to the configuration of museum parking lot, improve the social influence of the professional museum, forming an agglomeration of museums and other optimization strategies.
