In recent years,orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)technique has been widely used in modern wireless communication systems because of its low implementation complexity,strong ability of anti-multipath interference and other advantages.However,traditional OFDM systems exist many problems: such as traditional OFDM systems use rectangular filter,resulting in serious leakage of out-of-band spectrum;The introduction of cyclic prefix(CP)sacrifices the spectrum utilization of the systems.In order to sovle the defects of OFDM technique,filter bank multicarrier(FBMC)non-orthogonal modulation technology came into being.Filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation(FBMC-OQAM)technique is a kind of FBMC modulation technology.FBMC-OQAM systems have many advantages,such as low out-of-band spectrum leakage,high spectrum utilization and so on.So them have been studied by numerous scholars.At present,FBMC-OQAM systems still have lots of key technologies to be studied,among which the time and frequency synchronization is one of the most important.This paper is devoted to the study of data-aided time and frequency synchronization algorithms on FBMC-OQAM systems.This kind of algorithms are widely used in wireless communication scenarios with high real-time requirements due to their low complexity,strong real-time performance,simple hardware implementation and easy verification.In this paper,after integrating the advantages of three kinds of classical data-aided time and frequency synchronization algorithms which called MLS,TR1 and TR2,a better algorithm is designed.At the same time,the pilot structure of time and frequency synchronization is also designed.The simulation results show that the time and frequency synchronization algorithm is designed in this paper has better performance.After simulation,this paper uses Native Instruments(NI)universal software radio peripheral(USRP)and laboratory virtual instrumentation engineering workbench(LabVIEW)to realize time and frequency synchronization module in the FBMC-OQAM real-time system on NI USRP-2943 R platform.According to the operation situation of the real-time system,we can confirm that the time and frequency synchronization algorithm designed in this paper has good performance,and guarantees the normal and stable communication of the FBMC-OQAM real-time system.
