In Modern information warfare,the entire combat force requires more and more electronic and information technology.Because of the complex electromagnetic environment,all kinds of electronic devices are gradually becoming miniaturized and centralized.In this context,the integrated technology of radar and communication has gradually become a hot spot of research.The project of the design and implementation of radar and communication integration waveform proposed in this paper is based on LFM signal and MSK modulation signal.This project sends the waveform by the linear frequency modulation signal of the pulse form,and then carries the modulation information through the MSK modulation mode in the linear frequency modulation waveform of each pulse,so it is called the waveform of integrated radar and communication based on the LFM and MSK.This project mainly studies the mathematical expression of the integrated waveform,and it also analyzes its radar performance and communication performance.Finally,the FPGA hardware implementation scheme and implementation result of the integrated waveform are given in the end combined with the project.The project firstly studies the basic theory of the linear frequency modulation signal and MSK signal in the integrated waveform,and then gives the mathematical expression of the integrated waveform.The project analyzes the performance of the integrated waveform.First,the ambiguity function of the integrated waveform is derived based on the tool of ambiguity function.It is concluded that the ambiguity function of the integrated waveform is close to the "tack type" and has high distance and Doppler resolution.The project also analyzes the delay resolution and Doppler resolution,and comes to conclusion that the time delay resolution of the integrated waveform is related with the bandwidth of the waveform,and the Doppler resolution is related with the time width of the waveform.Then the anti Doppler performance of the integrated waveform is analyzed,and it is concluded that the influence of the Doppler shift on the integrated waveform is that the output result of the coherent integration is no longer the equal amplitude for each symbol,it is also concluded that the Doppler shift will destroy the orthogonality of the phase branch and the orthogonal branch,so that the energy of the two signals which not interact with each other will affect each other and reduces the performance of the demodulation bit error rate.Finally,the expression of bit error rate of integrated waveform with coherent demodulation is derived,and its emulation bit error rate are simulated by MATLAB.At last,the project proposes the method and result of the FPGA implementation of the integrated waveform.The synchronization method of chirp signal before pilot waveform is proposed.In the Xilinx platform,the modules of the transmitter and receiver are designed with the Verilog HDL language.Finally,the connection of the transmitter and receiver is completed.Then the feasibility of the LFM and MSK integrated waveform is proved from the hardware realization.
