With the increasing demand of broadband communication,satellite communication entered the era of high throughput.Large bandwidth and strong anti-interference capability of satellite communication system inevitably need higher-order modulation to improve transmission efficiency.Good channel coding with good error correction performance is needed to improve transmission reliability,and low complexity of decoder is also needed to improve throughput of the system.Through the study of Ka-band satellite communications and channel coding of wireless communications,a channel coding scheme of Non-binary LDPC is proposed for high-throughput satellite communication system from the aspect of algorithm considering the three points above.The specific research contents are as follows:1.A new adaptive EMS algorithm called Double-truncated EMS is proposed to solve the problem of excessive decoding complexity of NB-LDPC codes.By analyzing the concentration degree of message validity in decoding process and changing the effective message length,the simulation results show that the computational complexity of NB-LDPC decoding is reduced effectively.2.In view of the EMS's long time-consuming in the ECN unit,we improve the existing bubble algorithm and propose a quick bubble check algorithm to reduce the time delay of its initialization.3.In view of the hard implementation of non-binary irregular repeat-accumulate codes,we improve the check matrix with the idea of building QC-LDPC.We propose the QC-NB-IRA codes and ensure efficient encoding while storing the check matrix easily.It provides the possibility of hardware implementation with low complexity.At last,we verify the performance of QC-NB-IRA with rain-fading channel.
