Safe production is one of the necessary conditions for the survival and development of the coal industry.Coal mine open channel water contains a large amount of impurities such as coal slime,and gradually deposits near the open channel flow measurement instrument,resulting in errors in open channel flow measurement instruments and can not be stable over a long period of time.The conventional open channel flow measurement device cannot provide security personnel with real-time and reliable data on open channel flow,resulting in an increase in the occurrence rate of coal mine water hazards,which is detrimental to the protection of people's lives and property safety.The development of measuring instruments suitable for the flow of open channels in coal mines is of great significance to reducing the occurrence rate of coal mine water hazards and improving the safety of coal mines.A coal mine open channel measuring device system was developed.The system consists of an ARM processor,a high-definition camera,an LCD display,and a DC power supply(5V-2A).Coal mine open channel measuring device uses "speed-area" method to measure open channel flow.First,measure the flow velocity of the open channel,and then measure the "overwater area" of the open channel.High-definition video cameras were used to separately collect the video data of floating objects on the surface of the open channel and collect the video data that when the water level of the open channel changes,the rectangle floating objects will also rise or fall as the water level of the open channel rises.Calculation of the flow velocity of open channel:The video is converted into an ordered frame image,and the nth frame image feature point is obtained.Using the pyramid optical flow method,the feature points of the image motion from the nth frame image to the(n+l)th frame are subjected to feature points.Match and calculate the feature point speed.The moving speed of the floating object is estimated by the moving speed of the floating point feature point,and the water velocity is indirectly calculated according to the relationship between the floating speed of the floating surface and the water flow velocity.The calculation of the open channel water level:the video is converted into an ordered frame image,and the preset rectangle floater is identified from the nth frame image,and the length and the width mean value of the rectangle floater are calculated.It is known that the initial rectangular float is at a distance from the camera height,and the average length and width of the rectangle in the imaging of the rectangular float at this height is calculated.Using the camera hole imaging principle,the value of the open channel water level can be calculated for the nth image.From the value of the open channel water level,the "open area" of the open channel is measured.The ARM-based Pyramid Optical Flow Open Channel Flow Measurement Device measures open channel flow velocity and open channel water level in an open channel.There are some gaps in the measurement of the open channel flow rate and expected requirements.The error in measuring the open channel water level "±3.3%" is in line with expectations.
