Optical flow method is one of the research hotspot in the field of image detection,and widely applied to computer vision and image detection,which involves image processing,pattern recognition and artificial intelligence and other disciplines.Its results have been gradually applied to aerospace,military,industrial,medical and other industries.This paper focuses on flow visualization technology based on optical flow method:(1)The results' errors of optical flow calculation are used as feedback control parameters in this paper to improve the estimation accuracy,because the control parameters of Horn-Schunck method(HS)are not self-optimization following its calculation results.(2)To solve the problem of large displacement in optical flow,a method of wavelet multiresolution thinning is proposed,which makes the calculation results more accurate.The experimental results show that the accuracy of this approach is higher than that of HS.(3)The experiments of flow visualization based on optical flow method are carried out.The first is the friction line acquisition on the surface of wing,which shows the optical flow algorithm can visualize the air flows on the wing surface;the second is two velocity field extraction experiment s,which show this method can get and visualize the velocity field from the data of background oriented schlieren(BOS)in wind tunnel test.(4)A quantitative experimental study of complex flow structures carried out as optical flow method in the field of flow measurement engineering practice.The position,strength and interaction of the wave / vortex / shear layer generated by the high velocity flow in the cavit y can be quantitatively demonstrated by experiments,which show this method can quantitative measure of complex flow structures...
