As one of the most important non-destructive testing techniques,ultrasonic nondestructive testinsg is used in various industrial fields widely.The traditional ultrasonic manual testing has the disadvantages of low efficiency,misjudgment of defects and poor reltability,In this paper,Combined with ultrasonic testing technology,automatic control technology,data acquisition and processing technology and ultrasonic imaging technology,water ultrasonic immersion automatic detection,and imaging system is developed.To improve the efficiency of ultrasonic testing,a three-axis automatic scanning system is designed.The relationship between the scanning step length and the motor movement is analyzed.The AC servo motor control technology and ultrasonic data acquisition technology are studied to achieve water ultrasonic immersion automatic scanning and ultrasound data acquisition.In view of the inconspicuousness of ultrasonic detection results,defect location,and difficulty in quantitative determination,an ultrasonic immersion detection software imaging system is developed based on labWindows/CVI platform.The theoretical foundation of water immersion ultrasonic detection and signal storage processing technology are analyzed,the function such as limit control and scan back to zero are completed,which has enabled water imm,ersion ultrasonic automatic testing,real-time imaging and the detection results are more intuitive.The sound field distribution of the probe in water,steel and water steel interface is calculated.In order to improve the reliability of ultrasonic testing,the actual ul,trasonic immersed ultrasonic testing process was analyzed using the sound field simulation technology,and the acoustic field emitted by the ultrasonic immersion ultrasonic testing probe was established and simulated.The generation and propagation of ultrasonic waves are analyzed,the generation and propagation of ultrasonic waves are described,a simulation model of the acoustic field emitted by the ultrasonic probe is established,the sound fields distribution of the probe in water,steel and water steel are calculated respectively based on the multi-Gaussian beam theory.By changing the parameters of the probe,get the best detection parameters in ultrasonic water testing,which makes the workpiece to be detected in a more appropriate detection area,thus to guide the actual testing process,ensure the correct implementation of the ultrasonic water testing,improve the detection efficiency.Through the whole system debugging and experimental verification,ultrasound A,B,C scanning imaging and sound field detection functions can be realized,with features such as fast detection speed,accurate positioning accuracy,and high reliability.
