Contemporary science and technology change rapidly,along with the proportion of Internet plus,communication between the people who separated by thousands kilometers are no longer confined to conventional audio and video,virtual reality technology emerge as the times require,which greatly shortened the people's sense of distance in space.Virtual reality technology is developing vigorously in virtual exhibition,auxiliary teaching,online viewing,online tourism and other industries.When people's vision and hearing are satisfied,people think of the olfaction that is closely connected with the virtual reality technology,and the substance that lets the olfaction meet is the odor.Experts believe that odor is more attractive compared with audio-video,and it can have kept for a longer period.Nowadays,audio and video have been transmitted remotely.People urgently hope that odor can also achieve long-distance transmission and recurrence like audio and video.In view of this,the research on the theory and method of the odor and the research of the recurrence apparatus has been put on the agenda,and the odor recurrence technology will bring new vitality to many industries and fields.This topic aims to explore a method of odor recurrence of aromatic hydrocarbons,and design an odor recurrence apparatus based on embedded platform.In hardware,the touch screen is used as the input,the LCD screen displays the output,the ultrasonic atomizing shock chip array,the agitator and the gas pump are used as the controlled equipment.Its software uses the embedded Linux system and the application program.It is a kind of dynamic and simple apparatus to recurrent the odor,thus possessing broad application foregroundThe details are as follows:(1)Based on the theory of flavoring,a new method of dynamic mixed flavor based on "base odor" was explored to guide the recurrence of odor.The subject consists of 8 common odors(Apple scent,orange smell,pear smell,banana smell,pineapple smell,osmanthus smell,jasmine odor,rose odor.(2)According to the method of odor recurrence,the overall scheme of the recurrence apparatus was designed,and the hardware platform controlled by the ARM9 was determined and the embedded Linux system was modified(including U-boot,kernel and network root file system).(3)According to the needs of the recurrence apparatus,the application and simple interface of the system are developed,and the driver of the LCD,touch screen and other devices is written,turn the odor formula into a system that can be invoked,and the normal operation of the whole device is realized.(4)Finally,the recurrence apparatus is tested,the apparatus is performed properly,and the experimental staff can experience the odor of the device,and can achieve the similar experience with the target odor,and the practice proves the feasibility of the method.
