With the rapid development of mobile augmented reality technology,how to effectively apply it in all walks of life has become a research hotspot.This thesis mainly studies on the application of mobile augmented reality technology in the field of architecture.The main contents of this thesis include scene recognition technology,tracking registration technology,building model construction method,fusion and interaction technology.The main work of this thesis is presented as below.(1)Considering the disadvantages of mobile devices,such as low computing capacity and small storage space,an identification framework based on server-side outdoor architectural scenes is proposed in this thesis.The images features are extracted through the AKAZE algorithm and then the image retrieval technology based on vocabulary tree algorithm is used to recognize outdoor architectural scenes.(2)In view of the scale uncertainty of tracking registration,the thesis uses the attitude estimation algorithm in the initialization process of monocular SLAM,the Baidu Map SDK positioning function of the mobile terminal and the matching points information to complete the tracking registration initialization,calculation of the registration position of the virtual model and subsequent camera pose calculations.Through these algorithms and methods,the thesis makes it possible to track registration in outdoor architectural scenarios.(3)As to the problems that the traditional modeling methods are too cumbersome,not suitable for the construction of professional architectural models,and the use of OpenGL for 3D rendering exists poor interaction,poor results and difficulty in fitting.The thesis adopts the Revit software which based on BIM to realize 3D modeling.At the same time Unity3 D is used for fusion rendering of virtual and realscenes.Through this algorithm frameworks,the thesis solves the problems such as coordinate transformation,virtual reality integration,interaction and code integration between the mobile platform and the Unity3 D platform.(4)On the Android mobile platform and the cloud server,the thesis builds an outdoor building scene construction system which based on mobile augmented reality.The system is composed by some sub-modules such as offline training module,scene recognition module,tracking registration module,virtual reality integration module and user interaction module.The system meets the real-time requirements of mobile augmented reality systems and has a strong availability in the construction industry.The system which is proposed in this thesis is mainly applied in the field of architectural design.It provides the architectural designers a simulation reference for the real scene construction in the pre-design stage.The system is professional,easy operation and friendly interactive.
