Research On The Evolution Of The Content And Form Of Physical Science Books In China After The Founding Of The People's Republic Of China

In the modern times,in order to further enhance the scientific literacy of citizens,speeding up the development of the science has increasingly attracted the attention of all countries in the world and has gradually become a strategic consensus for enhancing comprehensive national strength.Physics education also keeps pace with the development of the times and emphasizes the organic integration of school education and science education.As one of the first carriers for popularizing physical science,the development of physical science books are the epitome of the development of physical science popularizaition after the founding of the People's Republic of China.The contents and presentation form of physical science books in a certain period can reflect the key points and characteristics of the development of science at that time.This study quantitatively studies the contents and presentation of physical science books in various periods since the founding of the People's Republic of China,and sorts out the physical science books diachronically,so as to objectively reflect the development history.Research 1 is an overall survey of China's physical science books after the founding of the People's Republic of China.In order to well grasp the evolution of physical science books after the founding of the People's Republic of China,this research has compiled the bibliography of physical science books according to the National General Bibliography(has beeb published and edited since the founding of the People's Republic of China),and has collected the books and sorted out their general features,including The number,authoring forms,writers and reader groups of the book.The conclusion is as below:(1)Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the number of published physical science books in China has grown rapidly,and has continued to show good momentum of development.Foreign excellent physical science books have been greatly tapped after the 1990 s.Among them,the imported countries of the physics popular science books have gradually transited from the Soviet Union to Europe and the United States as the main transition,and the books importing from Asia,mainly Japan and South Korea,has gradually become prominent.(2)After the reform and opening up,the writers focusing on educators has emerged,and scientists will also become the backbone of future physical science books.Young students have been the main readers groups since the founding of the People's Republic of China.At the same time,the proportion of children's books in the publishing market after the reform and opening up has been rising greatly,and the readership of physical science books is gradually becoming younger.The research two focuses on the evolution of the physical science books content in China after the founding of the People's Republic of China.After statistically analyzing the content of the books,the contents of the books are divided into different knowledge points according to different themes,and the distribution of sample knowledge points is further analyzed,and the key points and characteristics of the physical science in different periods are found out.The conclusions are as below:(1)The content of physical science books is mostly based on physics knowledge.However,with the change of the concept of popularizing science,the content is no longer limited to physics knowledge,but extends the perspective to physical thoughts,methods,and spirits,etc.,making the status of physical culture books gradually become prominent.(2)The topics of physics knowledge and experimental science books mostly contain the comprehensive knowledge of each branch and are still rising steadily,making the topics more comprehensive.In the subject-specific physics knowledge books that individually introduced a topic,modern physics themes demonstrated a strong momentum of development.(3)Physical history books are the important in physical culture books.The development of atomic physics and modern physics has received more attention.As a major culture book in the reform-deepening period,physical biography books pay more attention to the life and scientific achievements of famous physicists such as Einstein,Newton,and Galileo.Study 3 is the evolution of the presentation form of China's physical science books after the founding of the People's Republic of China.After quantitative analysis of the presentation forms of physical science books in each period,samples were selected according to the number of printed books,and case analysis method was used to analyze the characteristics of physical science books presented in each period.Then,a comparative study method was used to compare longitudinally the presentation forms of books in each period,and analyze the differences and evolution process.The conclusions are as below:(1)The physical science books since the founding of the People's Republic of China were mainly of lectured form,but the proportion was gradually declining.while the proportion of other books that were more abundant in forms was gradually increasing.Among them,the books with comic not only broke through in the form of presentation,but also was deeply favored by readers and showed a good development trend.(2)The format of physics science books is mostly "title + text",but after the reform and opening up,the forms and styles of books are gradually enriched,and more books will adopt different columns to expand the content.(3)In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,the presentation of physical science books focused more on textual descriptions.However,due to the development of times,the number and size of photographs have been greatly improved.More books have been illustrated and entered the era of “reading pictures”.At the same time,the color printing of pictures also shows tremendous growth and development.Based on the above conclusions out of analysis,the enlightenment on the content and presentation form of the physics science books are as follows: The concept of popularizing science is relatively lagging behind,and the pace of changing that needs to be accelerated;the idea of selecting topics for physical science books should continue to be expanded;the presentation forms should also be diversified.
