Television News Innovation And Development Trend Research In Virtual Reality Technology

With the continuous development of science and technology,big data,full-motion video,virtual reality,artificial intelligence and other technologies are influencing our daily life.Virtual reality(VR)is a kind of computer simulation system.This system is a high-tech which can create and let us experience a three-dimensional virtual world.This technology forms a virtual environment(which closes to reality)by means of computer synthesis or real-world shooting;the users wear a special helmet or equipment to isolate eyes and ears from the surrounding environment,so that they can experience an immersive viewing.Nowadays,the use of virtual reality technology has involved many aspects,such as medical,education,social and so on,especially in the field of movies,television,games and other entertainment.Television news has experienced its own changes under the influence.With the upsurge of virtual reality technology,360°simulation equipment has been developed.Could this technology be applied to television news? Will it develop into a new way for people to receive information in the future? Could this even subvert the traditional television news industry? This dissertation will discuss the influence of virtual reality technology on television news about its innovation and possible development trend in the future from four parts.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly introduces the research background of television news,virtual reality technology,and the TV news' development trend.As for the purpose of this research,it includes academic value and practical significance.In addition,this part briefly does the literature review on the application of virtual reality technology in television news both in domestic and foreign countries,and puts forward my research methods.The second chapter is mainly about the contents of television news.Based on the definition in “TV news”,this chapter firstly gives a brief overview of the television news,and then divides the current television news into four aspects: production,spread way,presentation mode,and the audience.The third chapter is the brief introduction of virtual reality technology,including the basic concepts,the born and development process of virtual reality and the main application direction of virtual reality.Chapter four is the most significant part of this dissertation,mainly discuss the impact and reform on television news under the virtual reality technology,and the existing problems brought from this technology.Finally,I put forward my imagination in the future development trend of television news: A virtual reality news era is coming,which would completely subvert the traditional television news mode.
