With the development of computer technology,more and more activities have been carried out by using computers as media to replace human beings.Haptic interface for motor training has been used in more and more fields.At present,haptic interface is used for surgical training and handwriting training etc.The haptic interface can feed back the actual force to users,and train the muscles of users.Using haptic interface can effectively reduce training time and enhance motor memory,which is good to help users to learn related motor skills.However,in the present study,in addition to the implementation of motor teaching in the use of haptic interface,most of the research is to study the effects of visual and haptic channels on the learning of motor skills.Few in-depth studies are focused on certain one parameter variation training.Many people have studied the method of handwriting teaching using haptic interface,however,few in-depth studies are focused on certain one parameter variation training.According to schema theory,the learning of motor skills is composed of variable parameters and invariant parameters.In order to make the Chinese handwriting training with haptic interface more scientific and effective,it is necessary to study the specific motor parameter.Focusing on these problems,based on the schema theory,this paper studies the specific motor parameters of Chinese handwriting teaching by using haptic interface.We established a software system for experimenting with the parameters.The influence of parameter changes on Chinese character training with haptic interface are summarized through experiments.The main research parameters in this study were the training speed,and the training results were analyzed when the training speed was increasing and decreasing.The writing results were evaluated in three terms-mean speed,inair time and shape.Finally,a scientific method for the Chinese character teaching with haptic interface is found.The main work of this paper are as follows:(1)Investigate and study on the research of haptic interface,motor learning and Chinese character learning.Based on the schema theory,the parameters of Chinese handwriting are divided into shape,font size,mean speed,inair time etc.After the research the range of parameter changes is determined.(2)According to the parameters and the purpose of the study,the experimental process is designed.(3)According to the experimental process,based on C++ and Open Haptics interface,a software system of Chinese character training with haptic device Geomagic Touch is developed.According to the experimental design,this system has the functions of passive training,active training and parameter control etc.(4)Foreign students are invited to participate the experiment and collect the experimental data.Finally,the experimental data are reorganized,and the dirty data are removed.The SPSS software were used to analyze the data.After analyzing the experimental data,it is shown that the qualitative and quantitative changes of the motion parameters have a corresponding influence on the learning of motor skills,especially in improving the shape of writing.The increase of training speed is better than the decrease of training speed.Based on haptic interaction devices,this incremental speed learning method is conducive to the training of Chinese character writing.It has certain practical value and research significance for promoting Chinese to the world and promoting the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
