With the improvement of electronic products on miniaturization and low power consumption and the rapid development of wireless communication,people's demand for personal wireless applications is increasing.As a new communication technology,human body communication plays an important role in medical health management and recreation and fitness.In these applications,a small communication network is formed by the interconnection of sensors on human body surface or near the body.In order to achieve the goal of keeping the wireless communication nodes miniaturization and the continuous stability of the wireless communication performance,the wireless body area network based on body surface communication as the core communication mechanism needs the use of multi-polarization antennas to capture the polarization components of the body surface propagation channel more effectively.Based on the study of the dielectric properties and human tissue characteristics of human body,the absorption characteristics and the body surface diffraction characteristics of electromagnetic waves are analyzed.The propagation mechanism of electromagnetic waves on the body surface is presented,and the human body channel model is proposed.Based on the above research,we established a three layer accumulation model to simulate human body chest and simulated by electromagnetic software;Finally,we compared the measurement and simulation results,analyzed antenna polarization performance changes of different distances and different polarization modes of body surface.The research results show that due to the coupling effect of the human body dielectric plate,the antenna's pattern shows certain directivity.When the antenna is placed horizontally on the body surface,the antenna pattern is less affected by the human dielectric plate,and the performance is better.
