Since China entered the consumer society,fragmentation and entertainment reading habits are spreading all over the society.Internet hobby groups have been generated and expanded with the development of Internet technology.Joint Publishing and Liaoning Education Press introduced Jimi's picture books in2002.Jimi is a famous picture book writer in Taiwan.After the introduction of 2002,chinese publishers and readers find the adult picture book,which is a new type of publication that fits the reading habit of the consumer society.In the following sixteen years of development,the adult picture book's type is gradually enriched,and the author team is gradually expanding,with a steady number of consumers.Based on the perspective of consumer culture,this paper analyzes adult picture books in China.The author adopts the method of literature analysis,case analysis and text analysis.This paper systematically analyzes the adult picture books in China,including the development stages,publishing status,types and consumption of adult picture books.This paper analyzes the characteristics and causes of the consumption culture of adult picture books in China,and affirms and criticizes the consumption culture of adult picture books in China.In the last chapter,we put forward suggestions for the development of adult picture books in China.
