MIMO technology can increase the capacity of communication system without increasing the bandwidth by configuring multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver.The future 5G base stations can support hundreds of antennas,and large-scale MIMO is considered as one of the core technologies of the new generation of wireless communication system.But it also brings some technical challenges.Antenna selection is considered to be one of the important techniques for simplifying the hardware structure of a MIMO system.As a new MIMO transmission technology,space modulation mainly focuses on the following two aspects: the sender's coding scheme and the receiver's decoding scheme.Under the above background,this paper mainly studies the antenna selection technology in the large-scale MIMO system and the receiver signal detection in the spatial modulation system.The main work is as follows:Firstly,in this paper,the development of large-scale MIMO technology,the background and research status of antenna selection technology and spatial modulation technology are discussed in detail.and several classical antenna selection algorithms are studied: the optimal antenna selection algorithm,the norm antenna selection algorithm,and the incremental antenna selection algorithm.Then the basic principles and mathematical models of spatial modulation technology are discussed,and several receiver signal detection algorithms are introduced: maximum likelihood detection algorithm,maxinum receiver ratio combining detection algorithm,normalized maximum receive ratio combining detection algorithm.And the simulation analysis of the algorithm is given.Secondly,the antenna selection algorithm based on particle swarm optimization is studied and the problems of binary particle swarm optimization are analyzed.A novel binary particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed to be applied to the joint transmit and receive antenna selection.Then the basic principle of the cat swarm optimization is studied,and the antenna selection scheme based on the discrete cat swarm optimization is proposed.To solve the problem of binary solution,a novel binary cat swarm optimization is proposed,and the update scheme of the speed and position of the population in different modes is given,then it is applied to antenna selection.The relative performance of the algorithm is simulated and compared to verify the validity of the proposed algorithm.Finally,this paper studies the receiver signal detection algorithm in spatial modulation system.Based on the deformation of maximum likelihood detection algorithm,and rotational symmetry of M-PSK modulation signals,a low-complex ML-like detection algorithm is proposed.The algorithm does not need to traverse the sample space of the constellation symbol as traditional maximum likelihood detection algorithm,and it can reduce the computational complexity.In addition,the paper also proposes a signal detection algorithm which is based on a novel binary particle swarm optimization.
