Faced with increasingly fierce competition in science and technology,scientific and technological strategic decision-making research,and deployment of key technology areas have become important for national development.Mining textual information,studying the trend of technology development has become an important means of decision maker.In recent years,the global additive manufacturing market has grown rapidly,and its related research and application fields have continuously expanded and deepened.The market has huge demand and it has become a key point in supporting the development of the national economy.Therefore,data analysis and technology foresight of additive manufacturing technology are an important link to ensure its scientific development.Data analysis and technology foresight of additive manufacturing technologies are an important part to ensure its scientific development.Therefore,this paper takes the additive manufacturing as an case study,collecting large-scale additive manufacturing literature data,and conducts the dynamic analysis of the additive manufacturing literature technology field,and provides support for the related engineering science and technology strategic research in the additive manufacturing field.In previous researches for technology pathway have problems such as time lag,insufficient path information and difficulty in determining the number of paths.An approach integrating text mining and citation network is proposed in this paper.Setting up a citation network,and clustering on the citation network.Then use the text mining method to extract topics from the network community,and analyze the evolution path of the technology by combining the connections between network communities at different time periods.Apply this method to the additive manufacturing field.The analysis of the development path in the additive manufacturing field can be used by experts and relevant decision makers.At the same time,this method is not only applicable to the additive manufacturing field,but also effective for analyzing the identification of technological trends in other technical fields.Technology develops along certain paths and represents certain technological opportunities.The life cycle of technological life is a key indicator for measuring technological opportunities.Although there have been many previous studies on the technology life cycle,various indicators have been proposed,but no one has yet make a summarization.This article will analyze the indicators of the characterization technology life cycle,analyze the various indicators from the actual significance,the performance of indicators in different stages of technology life and the different indicators of the similarities and differences,and propose a set of indicators that can characterize the technology life cycle system.At the same time,an approach based on Multiple indicators for technology life cycle analysis is proposed in this paper,while most recent related researches use the single indicator.And the approach was verified in this paper.We choose the additive manufacturing as a case study,the result can be used by related researchers.
