Mobile Ad Hoc network is a kind of non-central network which composed of multiple mobile terminals.Because the MANETs doesn't require infrastructure and its networks build up quickly,MANETs networks are always used in military,medical,environmental monitoring and other fields.As a key technology in MANETs,routing technology stipulates which path the data communicates over the network.Because the nodes in the entire network are in a freemoving state,so the topology of the network is constantly changing,and the traditional wired routing protocols are not applicable.Since the energy of each node in the network is limited and the real-time nature of data communication must be ensured,the design of routing protocols for MANETs networks becomes a major challenge.Firstly,the paper introduced the related content of MANETs routing protocol and simulated AODV,DSR,DSDV protocols,then particularly introduced and analysed AODV protocol in detail.Secondly,the paper compared the existing mobility models and prediction algorithms,and proposed an improved random walk mobility model.Then a mobilty prediction algorithm based on SVR is proposed and its feasibility is proved by simulation.Finally,the paper proposed an improved AODV protocol based on SVR prediction and it has been simulated and analysed.The AODV protocol can be divided into two phases: route discovery and route maintenance.Through the simulation of the AODV protocol,there are a large number of Hello broadcast messages in the network during the route maintenance phase.In consideration of this phenomenon,this paper improved the routing maintenance strategy of AODV protocol.In this paper,we first introduced the improved mobility model,established a mobility prediction model,and used the SVR algorithm to predict the link lifetime.Through the simulation of the prediction model,we can see that the prediction method can effectively predict the link lifetime.Then this prediction model is added to the AODV protocol routing maintenance strategy,and at send terminal,the data to be sent is compressed by data compression technology.Then introduced the simulation platform and modified its energy consumption model,configured the simulation environment and node parameters,analyzed the simulation process accordingly at the same time.Finally,the improved AODV protocol is simulated and analyzed from the aspects of the average residual energy of the node,the number of remaining nodes in the network,the average delay of the network and the average packet loss rate of the network.The simulation results show that the improved AODV protocol increased the average delay of the network slightly,but it reduced the average network energy consumption and network delay significantly.
