The remote control technology of robots is widely used in various fields.The technology pays attention to human-computer interaction and human-machine collaboration.The human remotely controls the robot to complete the operation accurately and quickly.Therefore,the remote control operation technology of the robots has always been a research hotspot of robot control technology.The paper has a practical engineering significance.The paper is supported by hardware platforms such as IRB120 industrial robot,5DT data glove,two-finger pneumatic clamps,and a camera.It builds a system,studies the control principle and programming method,and realizes the remote control of the industrial robot.Based on the hardware platform,this article uses two kinds of technical methods to achieve the remote control operation of the industrial robot,and complete the corresponding control algorithm:1.Complete remote control operation system based the data glove.It consists of a gesture recognition system based the data glove and an industrial robot execution system.The system based the data glove is implemented by a software development kit,a Microsoft MFC library,and a majority voting algorithm.It can recognize and send 10 gestures information.The industrial robot can receive a gesture signal from the data glove and perform a corresponding action according to the signal content.The two subsystems implement command communication through the RS-232 serial port.2.The gesture recognition system based the data glove is improved to detect the glove's position based vision.Through image processing algorithms,gesture feature extraction,action classification,gesture recognition,the judgment of gesture movement direction,and the calculation of gesture movement distance can be achieved.Designing an algorithm to obtain the information controls the actions of the industrial robot.It realizes the detection of remote control operating system by the visual gestures.By controlling the robot remotely to handle a workpiece,the performances of the two remote control operation systems are tested and the experimental results are analyzed.Both systems can complete the remote control operation of the industrial robot.And the performance and control effect of the remote control system based vision are better.
